How Do I Remove Color Street?

This is one of my most frequently asked questions about Color Street Nail Polish Strips. Here are a few things to keep in mind, depending on what type of "nail person" you are:

"Serial Gel User":

You are used to soaking and scraping – but now all you need isregular nail polish remover. Color Street nail strips can last as long as gel polish, but they can be both applied and removed at home.

"I Never Wore Nail Polish Because it Always Chipped":

You may think that because the polish goes on in one piece, it should come off the same way. Please, for the health of your nails, do not peel, pull or otherwise attempt to take off the strips withoutnail polish remover.

"I Only Wore Nail Polish for Special Occasions":

Like your wedding 8 years ago, or maybe it was your high school prom? If that's the case, then chances are you need to buy a new bottle ofnail polish remover – like one from this century. Older remover can lose its potency meaning it takes longer to work.

Once you have your remover, here are a few tips to keep in mind:

1. Acetone is more effective in removing nail polish but can be hard on some people's nails. If that's the case, considermineral-based or other formulas.

2. A tool or two can help with removal. Some Color Street fans prefercontainers with little brushes in them, while others like theclips shown here. Regardless, these simple tools make removing Color Street as easy as it to apply!

3. After you use the remover, wash your hands with soap and water to remove any residue, and then use amoisturizing nail cream.

4. Lastly, I usually spend some time with "naked nails" before I apply my next set of Color Street! I file them a bit- aglass file is best. It gives me time to decide on my next set- so many choices!
